Audrey and I stopped by the Jess Brown trunk show at Aldea Home to celebrate the launch of the newly published book, Lulu & Pip, as well as say hello to our favorite doll designer. The follow-up, to the popular Kiki and Coco in Paris by Nina Gruener, is a new adventure in the beautifully wild terrain of Grass Valley, California. While I was quite taken by the grand and gorgeous photographs by Stephanie Rausser, my daughter found the most charming part of the book to be a sweet-looking donkey named Pedro. You’ll just have to get the book and see why.
Visitors had a chance to color their own Jess Brown paper designs. What a nice surprise to receive an email that the folks at Aldea Baby liked Audrey’s creations so much, she’ll be receiving a special Jess Brown Design gift. I haven’t told her yet, but I know she’ll be pleased as Punch. You can see some of the designs on the Aldea Baby page.
We love these one-of-a-kind rag dolls! You can find more of these dolls here.
