I just finished making sandwiches for my son’s kindergarten graduation tomorrow. It’s a potluck so me and 20 other parents coordinated on simple lunch items and dessert. With so many dishes, I always appreciate food labels. Here, I used the ciabatta bread end as a place card holder. Not completely genius but love that there is a good use for those sometimes purposeless ends.
In picture: ciabatta with a light spread of salted butter and dijon, nitrate-free ham (because you just never know!), and gruyere.
