I ran into my friend Sally at the market today. We had a brief catch-up session, where she introduced me to a recipe app from Real Simple (thanks Sally). Similar to other cooking apps, searching by ingredient or meal type delivers a list of recipes. However, what I liked about this one is you could also select how much time you have to make the dish, 20, 30, or 40 minutes. As a mom, sometimes I’m in a pinch for dinner but still want something tasty and nutritious. I like this feature, a lot.
Sally was looking for Swiss chard recipes and didn’t have tons of cooking time. She entered Swiss chard, 20 minutes and voilà! sausage and chard sauté with polenta (looks good). I hope the dish turned out yummy. You can get the app here.
