Gift Guide for Friends Who Sip

Stylish vessels for a warm or chilled drink.

The Kami mug is a perfect example of beauty and function coming together. This well-designed mug is made of castor aralia wood, which is coated with a food-grade polyurethane ensuring years of use without risk of staining. This is such a beautiful piece on its own but would be an exceptional way to enjoy an afternoon tea.

We love Laura Zindel Design. Her designs are classic, and her detailed drawings are full of  life. The ceramic collection include songbirds, sea life, ferns, and everything in between. This wood fern espresso cup and saucer is one of my favorites, right next to the black birds.

Wine is one of the most popular holiday gifts, don’t you think? I like giving then out as hostess gifts but, for close friends, why not pair one with an etched wine carafe or tasting set? They make distinguished gifts and are such nice detail when entertaining guests.

When my husband and I our out enjoying a cocktail, we prefer to drink out of old-fashioned glasses (no martini glasses unless… it’s a martini). I found these old-fashioned glasses and fell in love. Sigh. The Yugami glasses are handcrafted and mouthblown by Japanese artisans so each has unique indentations. They are a work of art and not to be gifted lightly.
